SAR for the Course
Grand County Search and Rescue (GCSAR) sincerely thanks our Sponsors, our Golfers, our Community, and our Volunteers for supporting our Team with our Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. We appreciate and rely on partnerships with local businesses to put on our golf tournament each year and we look forward to having a great day on the course!
All funds raised help us fulfill our mission: to maintain active groups of volunteers trained and equipped for humanitarian mountain search, rescue and recovery operations, to promote safety in mountain recreation and to assist appropriate authorities upon request.

Stella Gives Back Benefit Concert
Join us on August 13th at Rendezvous Events Center in Winter Park for the 2022 Stella Gives Back summer concert benefiting Grand County Search and Rescue!
The benefit concert will be called ‘Stella Gives Back’ in honor of the dog Stella who was rescued by Grand County Search and Rescue volunteers last fall. A unexpected early snowstorm hit two brothers on a backcountry trip, which turned into two separate rescues – one for them and one for Stella the dog. Both were successful due to the amazing volunteer coordination of the Grand County Search and Rescue team, which is powered solely by donations from people like you.
The event will feature live music by the band Slopeside in a beautiful outdoor setting, giveaways, auctions, games, food and drink. Your participation would be incredibly valuable to our guests and to Grand County Search and Rescue. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for GCSAR through ticket sales, auctions, and activities at the event.

Grand County + Colorado Gives Day
Tuesday December 7th is Grand County Gives Day!
Grand County Gives is a collaborative effort in which Grand County non-profits have come together to support our local community. Grand County Search and Rescue is a participating non-profit for Grand County Gives Day. All donations are matched for twice the giving power. Please support GCSAR and the other non-profits in Grand County on Tuesday December 7th!
4th Annual Backcountry Beacon Bash
This annual event is the premier avalanche education and backcountry community pre-season gathering in Colorado! Join us to brush up on avalanche rescue skills, practice beacon training, find new backcountry partners, and raise funds for two great non-profit organizations - the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and Friends of Berthoud Pass!
